Join the Autism Coalition of Brevard in their Annual 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at the David R Schechter Community Center in Satellite Beach, Florida. The event aims to benefit families affected by autism in Brevard County.
Participants can enjoy a range of race amenities, including T-shirts (note that shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrations), a free kids’ run after the 5K, post-race refreshments, and an awards ceremony for age group winners.
Early packet pick-up is available on Friday, February 24th, at Running Zone, located at 3696 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL. The packet pick-up time is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
On race day, late registration and packet pick up open at 6:45 AM at the Schechter Community Center, with late registration and packet pick up closing at 7:45 AM. The 5K race starts at 8:00 AM, with an awards ceremony immediately following the race.
Race awards are as follows:
- Top 3 Overall M & F
- Top Masters (40+) M & F
- Top 3 M & F in each Age Group: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Race fees are as follows:
- Adult: $30 through 2/1, $35 from 2/2 to race day
- Child: $15 through 2/1, $35 from 2/2 to race day
- Virtual: $30
- $5 off for No Shirt
