Help for Children and Adults with Down Syndrome
At Roman Empire Agency, we believe in the unique abilities of people with Down Syndrome. Since 2010, we’ve offered caring, personalized help to clients aged 1.5 and older and their families in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Hawaii, Tennessee, and Florida. We work with organizations like Regional Centers, Santa Clara Family, and Anthem to provide affordable care that helps people become more independent, grow, and live happy, fulfilling lives.
Understanding Down Syndrome
Down Syndrome is a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21. This leads to specific physical features, differences in how people develop, and varying levels of intellectual disability. Individuals with Down Syndrome might find it challenging to learn, communicate, or use their motor skills. However, they also have wonderful strengths like empathy, creativity, and resilience.
At Roman Empire Agency, we focus on the person, not just their diagnosis. Our goal is to help people with Down Syndrome live rich lives by offering personalized support that builds on their strengths and encourages independence.

ABA Services for Adults and Children with Down Syndrome
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding and changing behavior. For individuals with Down Syndrome, ABA therapy focuses on developing essential skills and reducing challenging behaviors. Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) design individualized programs that target areas such as communication, social interaction, self-help skills, and academic readiness. Through positive reinforcement and structured teaching methods, we help clients learn new behaviors and generalize them across different settings. We work closely with families to ensure that strategies are consistent and effective, empowering individuals with Down Syndrome to achieve greater independence and participate more fully in their communities.
